I have designed homes for families and individuals all over the North-West UK. My knowledge of a diverse range of styles and the design skills that I implement throughout the process has resulted in an excellent finished product, and happy clients every time. I’m proud of all of my projects. Below you’ll see a summary of some of my most recent work.
Liverpool – Master Bedroom
In October 2017 I designed a Master Bedroom, two guest rooms and a home office for clients in Liverpool.
I wanted to create a feeling of space with luxury touches. The finished result was incredible and the before and after photos were unbelievable. Here you can see the finished master bedroom. The clients and their family and friends love it.
Georgian Townhouse 2017
My brief for the redesign of this Grade II listed Georgian Townhouse in the Georgian Quarter of Liverpool, was to create a stylish and modern interior for a stylish and modern couple.
Before my clients purchased the property, it had been rented for several years. It was in need of some TLC.
My clients, originally from Spain, had eclectic and unique tastes, along with a collection of antique Spanish furniture and hundreds if not thousands of books.
As with lots of Georgian Townhouse conversions, the kitchen was located in the Living Room. Careful space planning was a must with both the kitchen design and the design of the shower room. Measuring only 4msq, it was decided that we would install a walk in shower with glass partition, instead of a bath. The shower room also had no natural light, so we wanted to have it feel as open and spacious as possible. We used a taupe tile, high gloss surfaces and a mirror and vanity unit fitted with motion sensitive LED light fittings. The finished result was ultra modern, made the most of the space and felt like a little piece of luxury despite the size.
You can see the 3D rendering of the shower room and pictures below.
Mossley Hill 2017
This four bedroom detached home of retired GP husband and Nurse wife is one of my favourite projects to date. The brief was to redesign The Lounge, Dining Room, Hall, Stairs and Landing, Cloakroom and Entrance Porch. My clients desperately wanted to increase the light in the north facing living room. It had been about 15 years since they had made any changes and they were ready for a fresh start that they could enjoy in their retirement. I am pleased to say that through detailed and thoughtful planning, well organised project management and hard work from myself and my team, the clients were overjoyed when they came into the transformed property for the first time. You can see the review they wrote for me on the Client Reviews page. I am also pleased to say, I’m returning to do the bedrooms later this year.
In a beautiful five bedroom detached house in Culcheth I was asked to redesign three of the rooms on the ground floor: The Morning room, The Dog’s room, and The Cloakroom. The brief was to freshen and brighten the rooms whilst reflecting the house’s history and the traditional tastes of the Yorkshire born couple who had lived there for the past 20 years. The work was completed in April 2017, and I’m pleased to say I have since been contracted to design and project manage the refurbishment of the Hall, Stairs and Landing. After that I’ll be working on the main Living Room and the Master Suite.
En Suite renovation in Cheshire
This project of renovating an ensuite is part of a larger refurbishment by Claire Davies Interiors involving 4 bedrooms and several living/family areas in a large family home in the Cheshire countryside.
The 3D renderings show the plans for the new bathroom.
The objective was to create a luxurious, modern and inviting room for the family and their guests.
The colour scheme is based on warm grey tones- using a feature tile in the shower enclosure and behind the free standing bath.
I also included a rose gold metallic matting for a feminine touch in the small shelf areas in the Shower, with LED strips to continue with the modern theme.
When completed this room will also feature a bespoke storage area for towels, and some statement wall lights for a truly glamorous bath time.
Living Room, Wirral
This living room was suffering from an awkward combination of difficult dimensions and disproportionately large furniture. I redesigned the space to be used as a sanctuary at the end of a long day. We decided to remove the dis-used fireplace and brick up the wall to provide a new location for the TV. By changing the 2 seater for 2 individual snuggle chairs, we were able to gain some flexibility in the layout and move the 3 seater away from the double doors. The result is a bright, glamorous and relaxing room to be enjoyed by all the family.
Girl’s Bedroom, Cheshire
This 11 year old is thrilled with her new room. She now has plenty of floorspace, more storage and a great place for sleepovers. The new bedroom is fun and vibrant and features an area for reading and writing and also a bespoke tent with glow in the dark stars. The girl and her parents are over the moon!
